SpaceX is in discussions with other companies about computing power services similar to Anthropic
Elon Musk posted on X that, as demonstrated by the recent expanded partnership with Anthropic, SpaceX is providing "AI compute as a service" at a significant scale.
SpaceX is also in discussions for similar collaborations with other companies. Over time, especially with the gradual implementation of orbital data centers, SpaceX is expected to be able to provide services for AI at a massive scale.
Earlier this month, it was reported that Anthropic and SpaceX reached an agreement, where the former will utilize the full computing capacity of the latter's Colossus1 data center, which will provide over 300 megawatts of new computing power to Anthropic within a month (equivalent to over 220,000 NVIDIA GPUs), directly improving the user experience for Claude Pro and Claude Max subscribers.
