NERC Launches Dashboard for Electricity Market Analysis

The National Commission for State Regulation of Energy and Public Utilities has begun to publish data on electricity production and consumption in Ukraine through a new dashboard. This new tool expands access to open data for market participants, government authorities, researchers, and the public. The dashboard includes data from the start of the new market model and allows for the analysis of the dynamics of various types of generation, consumption structure, changes in the energy balance, and long-term market development trends. The dashboard can be accessed on the NERC website in the section "Indicators and Monitoring Metrics of the Electricity Market to be Disclosed During Martial Law." Previously, NERC approved the procedure for appointing a nominated electricity market operator, necessary for the integration of Ukraine's energy markets with the European Union. An update of the Distribution and Transmission Codes is also being prepared to stimulate maneuverable generation.
