8 Cryptos Launched Since 2024 Remain Profitable for Early Buyers

CryptoRank analyzed 113 major tokens launched since 2024, of which only 8 are trading above their token generation event (TGE) price. The median return of these tokens is -95%, resulting in losses for initial investors. Additionally, Memento Research reported that 100 out of 118 tokens launched in 2025 are trading below their listing price, with a median valuation down by 71%. By June 2026, 82% of the top 100 crypto assets had declined, due to often inflated launch valuations and an oversupply caused by token unlocks. Worldcoin (WLD) has fallen by 97% from its all-time high. Hyperliquid (HYPE) stands out with a gain of 1,519% since its airdrop in November 2024, trading around $61, thanks to a solid business model. Ondo (ONDO) follows with a gain of 101.4%, supported by demand for tokenized U.S. Treasury bonds. EverValue Coin (EVA) and Midnight Network (NIGHT) are also among the winners. CryptoRank concludes that only projects generating real revenue or backed by tangible assets seem to withstand the downturn.
